Description

Vintage mid century Japanese table top cabinet or floor standing lowboy side unit, made in the 1960s probably, or possibly 1950s. Interesting combination of natural and modern: it has two sliding doors with synthetic textured panels, with a very fifties sixties design, while the two wooden posts which flank the door section are partially the original shape of the timber; undulating natural forms. Condition is pretty good structurally; it's solid enough; the doors are slightly delicate but fine for normal use. Cosmetically it has various scuffs, marks and scratches though nothing much. Dimensions: 89cm x 34cm x 20cm high
